AI video and image generator
Higgsfield review
One subscription for Kling, Veo, Seedance, Nano Banana and Higgsfield's own models, with an official MCP server — but its terms let uploads train its AI by default, credits expire and renewals are never refunded.
Prices and terms checked against Higgsfield's own pages — sources.
Pick Higgsfield if…
- Shops and marketers who want product videos, UGC-style ads and social clips from many AI models in one account
- Creators who compare Kling, Veo, Seedance and image models side by side before they pay for each one separately
- Teams who want to create images and videos from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor through the official MCP server
Skip it if…
- Anyone uploading customer photos, staff faces or confidential product material — the terms allow Higgsfield to train its models on inputs and outputs unless you have an Enterprise contract
- Buyers who need a refund safety net — only the first purchase can be refunded, within 7 days and only if no credit was used
- Heavy users planning around "unlimited" — it covers selected models for a limited time, only on the website, in a slower queue
Higgsfield is an AI video and image platform: one account gives you third-party models such as Kling, Google Veo, Seedance, Sora 2 and Nano Banana next to Higgsfield’s own models and studios — Soul for images, Cinema Studio for camera moves, Marketing Studio for product ads, plus lip sync, voice-overs and upscaling. Higgsfield Inc. is based in San Francisco with a location in Kazakhstan; it was founded in 2023 and raised $400 million at a $5.4 billion valuation in August 2026.
How we checked Higgsfield
Checked without an account on 2 November 2026: the pricing page (rendered in a browser, because the prices load by script), the terms of use updated 23 October 2026, the privacy policy updated 31 October 2026, the help centre on credits, unlimited models, refunds, cancellation and the MCP server, Higgsfield’s own pricing blog post, Trustpilot and press reports. We have not generated a video with it, so the score covers prices, features, terms and data protection, not the quality of the results. How to use Higgsfield from Claude or ChatGPT is in our guide Can Claude make videos? Higgsfield MCP setup, cost and limits.
| Checked | What we found |
|---|---|
| Prices | Starter $19 (monthly and yearly the same), Plus $59 or $47 yearly, Ultra $129 or $99 yearly; prices exclude tax, which is added at checkout |
| Price contradiction | Higgsfield’s blog of 24 October 2026 (“Prices verified October 2026”) lists Starter at $15 for 200 credits and Plus at $49 for 1,000. Confirm at checkout |
| Credit cost | Shown per model in the pricing table and on the Generate button; Kling 3.0 720p about 7 credits per 5 s, Veo 3.1 about 40 per 4 s |
| Unused credits | Subscription credits “do not roll over” (terms, §9.4); credit packs are valid for 90 days and need an active subscription |
| “Unlimited” | Selected models, often 7 days; “accessible only via higgsfield.ai and … not accessible on MCP/CLI”; slower queue, fair use (terms, §10.6) |
| Free plan | No credits, a small set of models, visible watermark. The pricing table says “Commercial use: Not included”; the terms and help centre say commercial use is not restricted to paid plans |
| Trial | None offered on 2 November 2026; the terms allow trials that “automatically convert to a paid Subscription” |
| Auto-renewal | “Automatically renewed … at Company’s then-current fee”; promo prices apply only to the first payment |
| Refunds | First purchase only, within 7 days, no credits used, fee up to 6%; “Otherwise, all amounts paid are non-refundable” (terms, §9.3) |
| EU withdrawal | 14 days, but “you lose your right of withdrawal once we begin supplying that content” (terms, §17.2); whether that applies can depend on checkout consent and local law |
| AI training | Inputs and outputs “may be used … to train” its models; no opt-out switch; Enterprise only for “No data training” |
| Data location | Processed in the US, according to the privacy policy; EU representative DataRep; no DPA for self-serve plans found |
| Rights | You own the outputs and may use them commercially; outputs “may not be unique across users”; you must have consent for faces and voices you upload |
| Law | California law, AAA arbitration with class-action waiver; opt-out in writing within 30 days (terms, §18) |
What it really costs
Prices as shown on the pricing page on 2 November 2026, excluding tax. Credits per clip from the pricing table; they vary by model, length and resolution, so plan for the model you will actually use.
| Scenario | Plan | Price | Roughly what it buys a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Try a few product clips | Starter, 270 credits | $19 a month | About 38 Kling 3.0 clips (5 s, 720p) or 6 Veo 3.1 clips (4 s) or 135 Nano Banana Pro images |
| Regular social and ad content | Plus, 1,200 credits | $59 monthly or $47 a month yearly ($564 in advance) | About 170 Kling 3.0 clips or 30 Veo 3.1 clips; all models |
| Agency or heavy production | Ultra, 3,000 credits | $129 monthly or $99 a month yearly ($1,188 in advance) | About 75 Veo 3.1 clips or 136 Seedance 2.0 clips (720p) |
| Small team | Team, from 2 seats | From $65 per seat a month | Pooled credits from 1,000 per seat |
On Plus monthly, one credit costs about 5 cents: a 5-second Kling clip comes to roughly 34 cents, a 4-second Veo 3.1 clip to about $2. Every new attempt uses credits, including clips you throw away; we did not test how many attempts a usable clip takes. Technically failed generations get their credits back, according to the help centre. Credits through the MCP server always cost the standard rate; unlimited and free generations do not apply there.
What users report
On 2 November 2026, Trustpilot showed 4.0 out of 5 from 5,269 reviews: 62% five-star, 19% one-star. Higgsfield has claimed the profile and replies to most negative reviews. The one-star reviews repeat four points: refused refunds, charges after a cancellation the user thought had worked, “unlimited” offers that did not feel unlimited, and fast credit use on video. In August 2026, according to WION, an unlimited promotion for Seedance 2.5 led to waits of hours to days; the CEO said “we have made mistakes”, and Higgsfield said it had banned about 40,000 bot accounts and refunded about $1.35 million. User reviews are anecdotal. Complaints about refused refunds on renewals match the written refund rules; reports of charges after a cancellation cannot be checked from the terms.
Is Higgsfield worth it?
It can be, for a shop or marketer who wants product videos, UGC-style ads and social clips and would otherwise pay for Kling, Veo and an image tool separately: Starter at $19 buys dozens of short Kling clips, and Plus opens every model. For anything involving customer photos, staff faces or unreleased products, probably not on a self-serve plan: the terms allow training on uploads, we found no opt-out, and we found no DPA. Buy monthly first — the refund window only covers the first purchase, and only if you have not used a credit — and treat “unlimited” as a bonus, not as the plan.

Change log
- 2 November 2026: First review. Pricing page, terms, privacy policy, help centre, Higgsfield’s pricing blog, Trustpilot and press checked.
Why credit-based AI plans are hard to compare is in AI credits explained; what to check before customer data goes into a tool, in AI tools and the GDPR.
What works
- Dozens of third-party models (Kling, Veo, Seedance, Sora 2, Wan, Hailuo, Nano Banana, GPT Image, Flux) plus Higgsfield's own Soul, Popcorn and Cinema Studio
- Marketing Studio turns a product page into a video ad in UGC, unboxing, tutorial or TV-spot style
- Official MCP server for Claude, plus a ChatGPT plugin, a Cursor integration and a command-line tool for Claude Code
- The credit price is shown on the Generate button before you start, and failed generations refund their credits
- On paid plans the outputs belong to you, and the terms do not restrict commercial use
- Low listed credit cost on some models — about 7 credits for a 5-second Kling 3.0 clip in 720p; each new attempt costs again
What to watch
- The terms allow inputs and outputs to train Higgsfield's models by default; we found no opt-out switch, and deleting content does not remove it from models already trained
- Data is processed in the US; we found no data processing agreement for self-serve plans
- Subscription credits expire at the end of each period; extra credit packs last 90 days and need an active subscription
- Refunds only for the first purchase, within 7 days, if no credit was used, minus a fee of up to 6%; renewals are never refunded
- The "unlimited" offers cover selected models, often for 7 days, only on the website, in a slower queue and under fair-use limits
- Higgsfield's own pages contradict each other on prices, free-plan commercial use and the yearly discount
- On Trustpilot, 19% of 5,269 reviews are one-star (average 4.0), with recurring complaints about refunds, cancellation and "unlimited"
How Higgsfield scores

The score weighs documented facts — prices, plan limits, terms and the vendor's data-processing documents as of 2 Nov 2026. It is not a lab test. How the score works.

Questions
Higgsfield: common questions
Is Higgsfield AI legit?
Yes, it is a real company. Higgsfield Inc. is based in San Francisco with a location in Kazakhstan, was founded by former Snap generative-AI lead Alex Mashrabov, and raised $400 million at a $5.4 billion valuation in August 2026. The complaints are about billing and "unlimited" offers, not about the company being fake — read the refund and unlimited rules below before you subscribe.
Is Higgsfield AI free?
There is a free plan, but it includes no credits, only a small set of models, and every result carries a visible watermark. The pricing table lists commercial use as not included on Free, while the terms and help centre say commercial use is not restricted to paid plans. For real work you need a paid plan from $19 a month.
How much does Higgsfield cost per month?
Starter costs $19 a month for 270 credits, monthly or yearly. Plus costs $59 a month or $47 a month billed yearly for 1,200 credits. Ultra costs $129 a month or $99 billed yearly for 3,000 credits. Team plans start at $65 per seat a month. Prices exclude tax and are as shown on 2 November 2026; Higgsfield's own blog listed different prices a week earlier.
How many videos do Higgsfield credits get you?
It depends on the model. According to the pricing table, a 5-second Kling 3.0 clip in 720p costs about 7 credits, Seedance 2.0 in 720p about 22, and a 4-second Google Veo 3.1 clip about 40. So Starter's 270 credits cover roughly 38 Kling clips or 6 Veo 3.1 clips a month. An image with Nano Banana Pro costs 2 credits.
Is Higgsfield unlimited really unlimited?
Not in the usual sense. Unlimited applies to selected models for a set period, often only 7 days for new models, only on higgsfield.ai (not through MCP, the command-line tool or Canvas), in a slower queue, and under fair-use limits that let Higgsfield throttle or pause heavy use. In August 2026 an unlimited offer led to waits of hours to days, according to WION.
Can I get a refund from Higgsfield?
Only for your first purchase, within 7 days, and only if you have not used any credits; Higgsfield may keep a service fee of up to 6%. Renewals are never refunded. For the EU, the terms say the 14-day withdrawal right ends once Higgsfield starts supplying credits; whether that holds can depend on the consent given at checkout and local consumer law. This is not legal advice.
How do I cancel Higgsfield?
Open Manage Account, then Subscription, Plan Settings, Manage Subscription, Show and Cancel Subscription. You can also email support@higgsfield.ai from your account address. The plan runs until the end of the period, without a partial refund, so cancel before the renewal date and keep the confirmation.
What is the Higgsfield charge on my credit card?
A charge from Higgsfield may be a subscription renewal, a credit pack or an auto-refill you switched on. Subscriptions renew automatically at the current price, and promotional prices apply only to the first payment, so a renewal can be higher than your first charge. Compare the amount and date with the invoices under Manage Account, then Subscription. If you do not recognise it, contact support@higgsfield.ai and your card issuer promptly.
Does Higgsfield use my uploads to train its AI?
It may. The terms say your content, inputs and outputs may be used to train its models. We found no opt-out switch; you can only stop future use by deleting your content or account, and material already used for training cannot be removed from trained models. Only Enterprise contracts exclude training.
